My Healing Journey
Since I was a child the one bible verse I remembered was Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the terms of the world around you, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." It was the anchor sinking me as a child and holding me steady as an adult.
Following that verse throughout my life has stretched me, broken me, and rebuilt me time and time again in God, but it has been the most beautiful story of love that has been woven throughout it all.
My foundation is in Christianity, but healing and spirit is not about a religion or culture or anything else that divides us in this world. I was born in Seoul South Korea and my Korean name means Eternal Water. I was adopted at 8 months old and my Christian name comes from the Linden tree which is known to appear dead on the outside but have the life giving seed within. I have spent several years working with Indigenous communities and in a Sweat I was given the name Thunderbird Women, and by an Elder, Debwewin Ikwe (Truth Woman). In a way they all translate to spirit.
I have spent 17 years working in Corrections, Addictions, Youth Facilities and Shelters walking along side the most beautiful souls in their healing journey. God is within all of us, He is the light in our darkness. If we all saw ourselves more authentically as the spirit God created us to be, imagine how different this world would be; how different your life would be.
You were created for so much more, and through coaching we can take one step at a time to find what that may be. We were created to be free.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:5
